The degree of your success is dependent on the degree of
your relationship with people
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for
their labor: Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord
of three strands is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9, 12(NIV)
A man's greatest assets are the people around him and if you
have the right relationship you will get to where you are going.
Someone said that 'you are just four steps away from any man
in the world'. This means that if you have the right connection, you will get
to any place in the world.
This is the main reason you must strive to cultivate and
maintain good and right relationship with men. You cannot afford to look down
on any man no matter how small they might look. They might just be the next
person you need to reach your next level of success.
George Washington said 'how far you go in life depends on
you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with
the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong, because someday in your
life, you will have been all these'.
God's intention for you is not to succeed in isolation. We
do not live in a vacuum. We live in a society where we have to mingle with
others in order to exist.
The degree of your success is dependent on the degree of
your relationships. You will never become successful without the help of others
and you must possess a good relationship with them to help you reach your goal.
Fall in love with people and people will fall in love with
you and men will contribute to your success.
